Skydrift infinity review4/6/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() The technical section in general is good, without too many flourishes but it more than fulfills it’s mission and remains stable at all times. Sound effects such as engines, explosions and so on also meet what is expected of them without being too prominent. A sound section that accompanies the game | The sound is quite good and doesn’t bother at all, we have some songs that have surprised me.The graphics are honestly not photo-realistic, like what happens to us with Microsoft Flight Simulator, but their correct modeling and beautiful range of colors make them enjoy their fair share. The game fulfills everything that is expected of it in all graphic modes, both in frames per second and in resolution. We have 2 graphics modes, Quality mode where you want to enjoy the graphics in maximum resolution and Performance mode where the FPS rate is higher and I would say that they don’t drop at any time. A very good technical section | In the technical section, we find a game that meets and shows that it is adapted to new technologies. The handling reminds me a lot of the classic arcade games like Afterburner, from Sega, but with the usual technical differences of the technologies. But with some time, we learn to handle these fast airplanes and that is where the fun really begins. Simple controls but difficult to learn | The controls can be simple, but at first it’s difficult to get hold of them, because in addition to turning, we must worry about going up and down like good airplanes that they are.But we are really facing a game that reminds of the arcade games of yesteryear, straight into action, but with the counterpart that we don’t have to put coins that empty our pockets. It’s a shame, because a story mode could have made the setting improve a lot. A game that fulfills what is proposed | In this game, we are released directly at the controls of a plane and run on quite spectacular circuits, history is conspicuous by its absence. This game is also available on PC, Xbox, PlayStation Nintendo Switch ![]() ℹ️ | We played Skydrift Infinity for about 20 Hours on Xbox Series X. This new chapter, if it can be called a continuation, adapts to new technologies and tries to be more dizzying than ever. Xbox 360 received this game and it really didn’t disappoint as it delivered on everything it promised. Although it may not seem like it, this is not the first game and rather we can call it a sequel, since the original title was launched back in 2011, which was coincidentally called Skydrift. LifeisXbox’s ‘Skydrift Infinity’ review | Digital Reality is a Hungarian company that has made some strategy games such as Imperium Galactica and the spectacular Shoot ‘Em Up Sine Mora, now they bring us a game of airplanes where we must run with our airplanes and defend ourselves thanks to some power ups, that are placed during the route, in the purest Mario Kart style. ![]()
